R3vira started without support from the sector that was the land of few players, with a lot of capital and experience, jealous of their business and since we are the only company managed and operated by women, they took us as a joke and only wanted to buy the project from us to integrate it with theirs but here we are, fighting, because our purpose is bigger. R3vira is a Social Enterprise dedicated to waste management. Our mission is to provide certainty through impeccable processes when recycling, creating social, environmental and economic impact. We want to be a benchmark of excellence in the management and creation of recycled products in Mexico. We collect with mobile routes and voluntary points throughout the State of Mexico to achieve the greatest possible coverage and closeness with our users. We realized that during the complete cycle of our operation (collection, decoration and sale of final product) we could hire people virtually and home office (even before pandemic) we could employ people of social sectors with few opportunities due to bias and discrimination, such as:Housewives, people getting out of the street and jail, people with disabilities and LGBTTTQI community. We work every day with the purpose of reducing the gender gap and thats why 90% of the people who work with us are women, many of them housewives who in addition to giving their effort in an environmental/social project have a lot of responsibility in their homes and very few job opportunities that match their daily roles. Finally, we collaborate actively with producers, processors and recyclers, so our former competitors became our allies. Also, we work hand in hand with schools from kindergarten to universities educating children and young people and making them participants in their daily lives of the circular economy.
