At Grupo RAPET, the objective is not only to improve the environment, but also that this is accompanied by the development of the community. For this reason, the company actively collaborates with Fundación Progresar (www.fundacionprogresar.org), which provides tools so that vulnerable families can get ahead with their own efforts and thus become a safety net that allows them to learn about entrepreneurship, child protection and quality education. Likewise, Grupo RAPET is an allied company to the project of social and labor inclusion for the migrant population in the recycling industry and circular economy, led by a team of women from Fundación Nobleza Obliga, the National Ministry of Social Development and the International Organization for Migration (IOM - United Nations), whose main objective is to favor the social and labor inclusion of migrants in Argentina within the recycling industry and the circular economy, strengthening the growth of this industry as a whole, and increasing the opportunities for the development of professional talents of the target population, especially professional migrant women who need to quickly enter the labor market. The project currently has 45 public and private institutions allied with government, companies, and civil society organizations, who from the project's ecosystem and its articulation opportunities, intend to generate an exchange of experiences and good practices, as well as expand opportunities for synergy and business opportunities within the framework of a program with social impact and gender perspective, which seeks inclusion and employment generation for the migrant population in a sustained manner, taking advantage of the opportunities of an industry that has a wide growth potential. In addition, Grupo RAPET has developed programs to hire people over 60 years of age, who are often at a disadvantage in their search for employment and has launched an important "Zero Waste" project where it seeks to reduce to zero the amount of kilograms of waste sent to landfills by 2025, a very ambitious project for the type of business/industry in which the company is involved. This program involves recycling, reusing, and reconverting absolutely all waste generated and currently disposed of in landfills.
