FC Barcelona is one of the most widely supported teams in the world, and the club has one of the largest social media followings in the world among sports teams. The Club wants to empower their community with Web 3.0 sustainability solutions to help reduce waste in the environment by combining Barça´s digital collectible cards with positive environmental impact. Team up to recover 1.000.000 kilograms of plastic equivalent to 35.000.000 one-liter plastic bottles across developing nations thanks to the Plastiks ecosystem which uses NFTs built on Celo, with unique digital certificates (Plastic Recovery Guarantee™), each guaranteeing that a specific quantity and type of plastic has been recovered from the environment.
