COLIBA Africa is an Ivorian social enterprise founded in 2017, dedicated to addressing the critical issue of plastic waste. Our mission is to structure and industrialize plastic waste recycling in Africa, while prioritizing the empowerment of women and leveraging mobile technologies to drive sustainable change. Since 2022, COLIBA Africa has established 30 plastic waste collection centers in Abidjan and Bouaké, providing a structured and fair working environment for over 6,200 informal plastic waste collectors in more than 18 cities across Côte d'Ivoire.
