Metaplastiks is a non-generative NFT project based on the fractal and colorful characteristics of recycled plastic. The different compositions arise from geometry and in the inspiration warm shades. Most of the pieces seek to generate visual compositions that encompass movement, colors and symmetry.

Eiríkah possesses the extraordinary ability to transmute plastic into valuable raw materials. With her ethereal presence and ancient wisdom, she leads the charge in environmental preservation. As a photographer, in the last few months I have been experimenting involving my photographic records merged with artificial intelligence. In this work, I used as a base a photograph of a fisherman walking on the beach, together with word prompts, forming a complex sentence. The result was this wonderful work that involves dreams, flowers and longing.

At WLAB we are trying our best to contribute to a cleaner Arugam Bay and prolong the life of plastic. We also believe not all plastic is bad. It is an awesome material and has great properties but we seriously need to reconsider our consumption of single use plastics and redesign the value chain. With our waste collection alone it is extremely difficult to break even since the value of the raw material waste is so low.
